Reservations Required
Our dining experience is unmatched to any in the region. We take pride in serving the finest quality ingredients in all of our selections including our 10 homemade desserts. Your experience will begin with homemade soup, salad of the day, hot buttermilk biscuits and homemade applebutter. All entrees are specially prepared to order and served with our chef's choice of potato and vegetable.

A sample of our menu is listed below.

Roast Stuffed Chicken
Organic boneless French breast chicken, stuffed with prosciutto ham, Swiss cheese and baby spinach, roasted and topped with a light sage gravy.

Beef Pot Roast
Started early in the morning and slow roasted all day until tender and juicy, served with a vegetable kettle gravy.

Almond Mountain Trout
A specialty of the house for many years. The fresh local mountain trout filet is lightly coated in bread crumbs and parmesan cheese, flash fried in canola oil, and topped with toasted butter almonds.

Grilled Salmon
An 8 ounce portion of fresh salmon prepared with one of the following
     Lemon Butter
     Blackberry BBQ Sauce
     Smooth Dijon Mustard Dill Sauce
     Sweet And Tangy Apricot Lime Glaze Flavored With Horseradish

Grilled Porterhouse Pork Chop
A 10 ounce organic center cut pork chop grilled with an apricot Dijon glaze

Grilled Prime Rib
The prime rib is sliced into 14 ounce steaks and grilled to order. While on the grill, the prime rib is basted with our sweet bourbon glaze and topped with aus jus.

Twin Crab Cakes
Two 4 ounce 100% jumbo lump crab cakes pan sautéed and lightly breaded served with a spicy remoulade with tarragon and capers.

Rocker Surf and Turf
One 4 ounce Jumbo Lump Crab Cake and 8 ounce Prime Rib cooked to order.

 

Our homemade dessert options include Triple Chocolate Cake, Fresh Coconut Cake, Carrot Cake, Blackberry Cobbler, Caramel Apple Pie, Bumble Pie, Hot Fudge Brownie Sundaes, Reeses Peanut Butter Pie, Mac Mountain Ice Cream Pie, Key Lime Pie and Chocolate Chip Mint Brownie Ice Cream Pie.

We ask that there be no sharing of entrees please. A 20% gratuity will be added to individual seperate checks and with groups of seven or more. Children under 10, entrees are half-price. All entrees do not include beverage and dessert.


We prepare for the number of guests who have reservations and often turn away many who would like to dine with us. Should your plans, or the number in your party change, please let us know as soon as possible.

Our Breakfast was voted as the "BEST" in all of Western North Carolina. Guests will find piping hot, coffee waiting for them each morning. And then, at 8:30, join us for our famous Red Rocker breakfast, but you'd better be hungry! Our buffet offers bountiful portions of scrambled eggs, egg casseroles, bacon, ham or sausage, biscuits and muffins, homemade syrups, seasonal fresh fruit, juice, plus specialty items such as Belgian waffles, Caramel-Pecan French toast, buttermilk pancakes, or grits and country gravy (specialty items vary daily). And our homemade granola is about the best you've ever tasted.

Of course, breakfast is complimentary for our house guests.

If you are not staying with us, breakfast is only $9 per person (plus tax and service). Breakfast reservations are required if you are not a houseguest.
